The Kingdom Kids have recently been released for summer break from boarding school. Many of them are excelling in their studies and some of them are struggling in certain subjects. But that’s ok, because no child is left behind at our Center for Youth. 

The kids are out of school until August. Our Gateway 2 Missions Global Ministries Team in Lira, will use this time during the Kingdom Kids school break to mentor them, tutor them, teach them life skills, and do fun activities with them to ensure they are staying off the streets and being productive. 

We consider our Center for Youth a community to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of at-risk kids and equip them to thrive. These children look up to me as their mother, and that’s one of the reasons I am known as Mama Africa. I am a mother to many, and these special children are my babies. My Gateway 2 Missions Team and I take time to review each and every Kingdom Kid progress report on a weekly basis. We make sure we attend all their school events, performances, and parent-teacher conferences. My kids know that Mama Africa expects them to do their best. 

As you may know, the majority of the Kingdom Kids are orphans and live at the center during school breaks and holidays. They understand we have taken full responsibility for them, they can trust us and they love us just as much if not more than we love them! I truly thank all of our Gateway 2 Missions Global Ministries donors and supporters, for sowing into their lives. Your giving is making a huge impact on their journey to success.
