Often times, the widows and the elderly are overlooked. They’ve spent their lifetimes working, caring for children – even caring for grandchildren past their time… Unfortunately, the elderly and the widows in rural and underdeveloped Uganda have no other means for support, there is no assistance available to them.

Our mission is to help improve their quality of life – letting them know that they have not been forgotten and they are appreciated!  By renovating their homes, we are providing them a more safe and secure environment – protecting them from the harsh extremities of heavy rains and poor weather conditions.

Each month, Gateway 2 Missions seeks to renovate an elderly person or widow’s home. Renovations cost approximately $1500 USD. Please consider donating to support this cause!
