At Gateway 2 Missions, we believe in the transformative power of education and skill development. In collaboration with the support of the Palle Moeller Foundation, we are excited to share the success of our Life Skills and Entrepreneurship Training program in Bardago, Aldi Sub-county, Alebtong District, Uganda. Our mission was clear: to empower Bardago villagers with practical skills and foster a spirit of entrepreneurship.

Life skills and entrepreneurship training are vital in rural communities like Bardago, where access to traditional education and employment opportunities can be limited. These skills not only empower individuals but also enable them to create sustainable livelihoods, fostering economic growth and community development.

Gateway 2 Missions, in partnership with the Palle Moeller Foundation, recognized the need for increased life skills training in Bardago and decided to focus on teaching the villagers the art of liquid soap and shampoo making. These skills not only provide economic opportunities but also cater to the daily needs of the community.

The skills training has a transformative effect on villagers, empowering them to establish their own small businesses, promoting improved hygiene within the community, and igniting an entrepreneurial mindset, enabling villagers to identify and pursue opportunities for the long-term development of Bardago.

The success of our Life Skills and Entrepreneurship Training program in Bardago is a testament to our commitment to empowering underserved communities through education and skill development. It is a testament to the power of education and skill development to break the cycle of poverty and pave the way for a brighter tomorrow.
